he Laager IX clan gathered at The Willows Resort for a weekend packed with camping adventures, reunions, and plenty of memorable moments. From Thursday’s chilly arrival to Sunday’s warm farewell, the event was filled with camaraderie and tradition.
Highlights included:
🏕️ Camping Chaos & Teamwork – Awning setup, fireside warmth, and even a toddler learning “pole dancing” from Lindsey.
⛳ The Willows Classic Putt‑Putt Tournament – Fierce competition, questionable talent, and Uncle Dudley’s three hole‑in‑ones securing yet another trophy.
🎉 Golden Oldies Reunion Braai – Over 30 visitors joined for fires, music, scrapbooks, and a feast that could rival Spur’s “Salad Valley.”
🎶 Evening Entertainment – Singing sisters Lindsey, Rozanne, and Cindy serenaded the camp.
🔥 Sunday Farewell – Coffee by the fire, the official induction of the Pitous into Laager IX, and one last braai before heading home.
It was another unforgettable weekend — full of old friends, new memories, roaring fires, endless food, and the spirit of Laager IX.
